With Joe Biden and Donald Trump being candidates to presidency the public debate is at an all time low level. Blaming other people for everything and calling each other names is not gonna make America great again. The far left, far right and people who cannot make up arguments may enjoy this, but the majority of the people would like to see changes.

First of all, Joe Biden, saying that it is all Trump’s fault that all of these COVID-19 deaths happened and are still happening is very easily said. The governors of all the states have made their own decisions on how to deal with protestors and how to deal with nursing homes. In New York for example, The nursing homes were not protected, which is out of Trump’s hands.

Secondly, the division within America can also not be solely blamed on Trump. The media has played a major role in the protests of past months. The looting and raiding has been justified and accepted by the media. Even the George Floyd case was instantly portrayed by the media as a racist murder. However, more than two months later, new footage brings to light that the murder cannot be solely blamed on racism. The footage shows George Floyd not cooperating and George Floyd having breathing problems before being on the ground and before being held with a knee in his neck. These breathing problems are probably due to a high dose of fentanyl, which is likely to have caused breathing problems. Trump has also brought the employment rate of African Americans to an all time low. And the general unemployment rate as well.

Thirdly, the bad state of the economy has of course everything to do with the lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Blaming this all on Trump, while all other countries that went into lockdown are dealing with the same problems, seems once again a little farfetched especially since I haven’t heard anyone having a better approach to dealing with the pandemic while also keeping your economy in a good state. In an interview Joe Biden even said that he was willing to go into lockdown once again. This would once again have a massive effect on the economy, with the economy being worse off than it is now.

With the elections coming up in November I would really like both parties to come up with a solution on dealing with these problems rather than blaming each other without coming up ith a better solution.

Also, couldn’t the democratic come with a candidate that has a little bit more sense in what he is doing than Joe Biden. It seems like he keeps forgetting his arguments and even sentences he is not able to finish properly anymore. This will be very disturbing and will not benefit the public debate. Also, why does Joe Biden say he likes kids jumping on his lap and has very disturbing behavior around kids.
